Hon. Cooper Paasewe, is the Assistant Minister for Administration (AMA), at the Ministry of Mines and Energy. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Degree in Economics and Accounting, with emphasis in Public Administration from the University of Liberia (UL). Other professional services Hon. Paasewe has provided include:

Credit Specialist (former) – Access Bank Liberia; a Microfinance Bank

Administrative Assistant (former) – House of Representatives, 54^th National Legislature, Republic of Liberia.

FUNCTIONS OF HON. PAASEWE IN CURRENT POSITION AT THE MINISTRY OF MINES AND ENERGY:

Currently serving as the Assistant Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Hon. Cooper Paasewe supervises daily operations of the Ministry’s Central Administration, ensuring efficient work-flow and effective communication amongst employees and officials. The Assistant Minister for Administration facilitates effective communication within the Ministry, and makes sure that all departments are informed of relevant policies and decisions of the Senior Management Team (SMT).

Assistant Minister Paasewe works closely along with the Deputy Minister for Administration, and acts in the stead of the Deputy Minister when she is absent. He, as well, functions in other capacities when requested by other members of the Senior Management Team.
