A Class B Mining License is issued to a Company that meets the requirements to conduct semi-mechanized mining operations in Liberia.

3. Prospecting Clearance from the Assistant Minister for Mineral
4. Work Plan and Budget
5. Articles of Incorporation
6. Business Registration Certificate
7. Identity
8. Financial and Technical Capabilities

CLASS A MINING LICENSE

A Class A Mining License is issued to a Company that meets the requirements to be granted a Class A Mining License.

Requirements

1. Must have completed exploration over a green field exploration license area that was granted by the Ministry of Mines and Energy
2. Must have a Mineral Development Agreement with the Government of Liberia from:
3. Green field exploration license granted by the Government of Liberia
4. Brown field area obtained through a competitive bidding process over an area that the Government of Liberia possesses geological datasets from previous exploration programs
